Wild Turkey Galantine – Thanksgiving Vlog

This year my dad shot a wild turkey for me to cook on Thanksgiving. This was an extra special turkey for me. Most of you know that I don’t eat any store bought or factory farmed meat,so it was the first time in almost 6 years that I’ve had turkey on turkey day.

I decided to try something a little different and went with a recipe that Steven Rinella from Meat Eater Tv made on his show. It’s called turkey galantine, which is turkey stuffed inside venison ground meat then is wrapped up in the turkey skin. Sounds weird but it was very yummy.

I should have read the instructions a little bit better before attempting this on the day of thanksgiving but it made for a fun time. Watch the video to see for yourself.
